Honeymoon in the Rockies
First of all, congrats! You’ve popped the question and are about to open a new chapter in your life. The honeymoon is just around the corner, after the wedding of course…no doubt planet earth has infinite options; gorgeous places to explore and enjoy – from tropical paradises and luxurious resorts, to the wilderness of northern realms and so on. If your wife is more of a Heidi, taking her to the Caribbean might not be ideal, as she will likely get lethargic only at the idea of lying on the beach all day long, sipping sugary cocktails. On the other hand, if she’s inspired by mountains, rivers, waterfalls, hikes, bears and loves adrenaline, you may want to consider taking your new bride for an atypical honeymoon in the Rockies. After all, honeymoon doesn’t necessarily equal beach and cocktails.
The party is over, you had an amazing time – now change out of your wedding attire, store them somewhere in the attic, have a nap and, as soon as you wake up, it’s honeymoon time! Planning a wedding is hard work, and marriage is not necessarily easy, so it’s time to recharge your batteries. The honeymoon will set the tone of the marriage!
Embark on the board of the Rocky Mountaineers. Find the closest stop for you or take the bus or plane or something..you have to make it somehow. Whether you come from Seattle or from Montreal or Toronto, you can find a train station to jump in. It will be an undoubtedly fabulous experience, breathtaking scenery…you don’t need our words to relate it, you have to experience this with your whole being.
You made it to Banff. Well, Honeymoon might be just once or twice in your life, we suggest you check in either at Chateau Fairmont, either at Rimrock. If you guys are more romantic and dreamy, then stay at Chateau Lake Louise..it’s indeed a love story spot.
Here is what we’ve planned for the two of you on your honeymoon in the Rockies:
